I'm planning on buying some 17" Acura TSX wheels, and some Honda center caps to put on my 2007 Honda Civic LX. However, I'm not sure how they will fit. Also, I need help figuring what tire size is optimal for these wheels (assuming they fit). I was thinking 225 55 17...However, I'm not sure I even know what I'm talking about. Any help is appreciated. Below you will find the SECS of the rims. Thanks again.

Number of Bolts: 5
Material: Alloy
Width: 7J
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 4.50 or 5 x 114.3
Structure: One Piece
Diameter: 17 inches
Offset: 55

Get TL wheels, they are 17 x 8 +45 and will sit a lot more flush then TSX wheels which sit even more sunken in then our OEM Si wheels (which looks like crap IMO).

If you get the TSX wheels, definitely do not get 225/55/17's. I would probably just get 215/45/17's or if you want more rubber on the ground I would get 225/45/17's. 225/55's would throw off your speedometer significantly, your speedomoeter would say 55mph when your actually going 60mph.

I had those stock tsx wheels, they fit pefect with 215/45/17. They are +55 offset so it will fit in the fender more then stock. I dont think its noticable however.
As for the TL wheels, i think they all come in 17x8 which is wider, so you can easily fit a 225/40/17. But i think a 8 inch wide rim is a little overkill for a 140HP compact car.
But TL has the best quality and best looking wheels

I think they should fit according to this Wheel Offset Calculator

I ran a 17x8+48 with some 245-40-17 tires and had no issues with the HFP suspension. According to that calculator the TSX setup should give you more clearance on both sides.
