I recently bought a 2006 Civic DX-G (a/c, pd, pw, etc.)
anyhow, it has the stock 15" with wheel covers. I am considering options for upgrading the rims.

My question: compared to the 15" oem, how does the 16" OEM alloy rims ride? Besides appearance, does it seems like a stiffer ride, etc.?

I'm asking this because I am wondering if it is worth upgrading by buying used oem alloy rims. I'm not wanting to go for aftermaket because I sometimes have to park at places where I worry that they might get stolen.

Thanks

15" to 16" shouldn't seem much stiffer at all. My buddy has an 06 DX coupe and his 15s felt pretty much the same as my LX stock 16s. He got some nice dunlop tires and the ride got smoother. I got 17s and performance tires and it felt slightly harsher but cornering got a lot better. In my opinion, wheels and tires are such an all around improvement over stock. I bet a lot of people here would agree with that.
