You are an absolute life saver!! I've seen a couple pics on one of the retrofit websites and I've been breaking my head trying to figure out what is used to fill in the housing. Ive currently taken on a Diy project of retrofitting is300 projectors into some fog light housings that I bought off a friend. I don't like to half Ass things so when I saw how pro it looked with the housings filled in I had to search and figure it out lol.
Btw how long does it take to cure once it's filled in?

I need your help for a friend,

bought the Skunk2 72mm TB and installed, follow your DIY everything went right, THL1 0.881 V and THL2 too. But what is happening is that the car is teetering 1000-1500 RPM at idle, without any error. How to stop it? Can you help me?

    Thank you!

so i have a bunch of those mini neo-wedge bulbs go out. i think having my projectors on during the day in turn kept those tiny little bulbs on causing to go out much earlier. do you know if they can only be purchased from Honda? They are $4 dollars a piece... for the little ones =\

I would assume the headlights would be over constrained only due to the fact that there are pin locations on 3 of the four tabs (if I'm not mistaken). But since we are mounting using only two of the 4 tabs, the bottom pin would act as the origin and only one side pin would be used to locate the headlight. The rearward pin hole "could" theoretically be a slot however slotting such a small hole might actually make the design more complex for manufacture lol.

At any rate, once this is made I will have a thread on it with the drawings so you can tell me if you approve! Nothing quite like a solid pat on the back from a Honda Engineer for us lowly tooling monkeys :)

Good advice and dually noted! Actually my new position is as a tooling designer so I know all too well the importance of setting this jig up correctly using the pin locations.

The welding course I took was actually a joke. Not enough to teach you how to properly weld, just the basics on how to set up a machine and make aesthetically pleasing welds along with tips on pushing and pulling the gun to get the correct penetration.

Not to have an engineers complex but the people taking that course lacked even the most basic comprehension and it was well below my expectations as far as what I ended up taking away from it. I will probably learn more form the guys on my shop floor lol

Thanks Jason. I totally forgot about that thread. I actually kind of missed the buck on getting the information in time to do my project but I still plan on making an actual jig with my new found welding skills lol (hopefully the guys at work will let me have a go at it)

back to rookie status. i get that. i took the radio out. that was easy! I should have picked up a nav a while back! lol

i didnt get to cram grease in the coupler though. i made the mistake of not checking if i have it first. i mean, i know i have it but i couldnt find it. will have to try this again when there's more daylight. by the way, when you say coupler, you mean the main radio harness?

hey, i have a question and i think you might know the answer right away since you've changed your dash lights... and that you're an engineer ;)

the backlight for my radio controls have been out for a while. it randomly came back on once but went out again and hasnt come back on. am i looking at bad wiring or a burnt bulb?
