You do realize that when stock the car likes more timing than it does with mods. Especially at WOT on the high cam.

Also if your car gets knock counts in columns 4-6 from 2250-3000 rpms, ignore them, they are wrong unless you've messed with the tune yourself and tried to stop them by lowering the ignition a bunch. In my experiences this area is notoriously wrong (especially when the engine note changes significantly with modifications or with camshafts and valvesprings. I had to raise the knock sensitivity right there a ton to stop the knock on my own car which has perfectly acceptable ignition timing in that area.

Changing knock sensitivity will affect the knock counts? I thought that only affected the knock control % for the gas octane.

So, if I increase the values on the Knock Sensitivity tables, the possibly fake knock counts i'm getting would be minimized?

What baffles me still is that it''s only #4 cylinder. I don't have any Ignition Trim utilized with my H/E calibration. And, my knock control % is consistently 50% or so (no KR seen yet). I'm more ok with the knock control at 50%, just for the occasional tank of bad gas.

Also to note, I haven't touched my KIL tables at all....that is way beyond my minimal expertise in tuning.

Also, this only happens when the engine is warm and it's hot outside. Which leads me to believe it is legit knock in my case. I'll post up DL when I can.

I assume you looked at the prior log. Attached is a log from today.

Seems to happen when IAT's are on the warmer side....still no audible pinging but a few registered on #4. I do have slight IAT compensation on ignition tables, but it doesn't really have an effect until IAT's hit around 100+

When I checked plugs, I checked the cylinder and nothing significant, pretty clean, a few tiny spots, but no built up carbon. Plugs indicated slightly lean conditions....but this was before I added the header/exhaust.

Engine mods are Q300 and Megapower Header.

Not sure if it's from when I added the Ingalls Powerstick, but the engine has had a 'strained' sound around 3k rpm's for awhile...I attributed this to the powerstick, whereas before, I had an injected top dog bone. Before this mod, I had the same symptoms, so perhaps this amplified the strained sound?

I dialed back ignition a few degrees yet....since the AF looks to be ok.

I had this problem also on cylinder 3 sometimes none. Sometimes up to 600 . Vit told me the same. Thing loose part in engine. After all that it ended up being a faulty injector. Try swapping them around . I replaced my rdx injector at auto zone for 38 bucks car now runs how vit tuned it !
