Wideband questioin

So I am waiting on my pin for b29 to install my wideband.
My question is, can I install it and get it to read correct without it running thru the ecu? Cars running rough and stock o2 sensor is showing low afr but symptoms are showing rich.

Can I do this or do I got to wait for my pin?

yes you can run the wide band without having it conected to ecu just make sure you dissable the other 02 sensors. mine is working and not on the ecu yet as well. the only thing is that when not on the ecu you cant se a/f on datalog as well as it can read it if you want a lean protection
