Power Steering (Hose?) Leak

Hey guys, I noticed a few months ago my car would start making an aggressive whining noise on startup and while driving that would go away over time, I assumed it was my alternator going bad but I eventually noticed the whine would sharply increase with the turn of my steering while. At that point I assumed it was something to do with the power steering and sure enough when I checked my levels were low, I bought some fluid from Honda and topped it off and like magic it was gone (too easy to be true).

A few months later the whining came back so I finished off the bottle to get it back to level but then it dawned on me that my levels should not be dwindling that quickly, sure enough I noticed a pretty decent oil based product leak on the floor (had seemed to be accumulating for a long while I always park in the exact same spot).

I checked the forums and EVERYONE would make thread about it being the pump or the O-Ring, but in my case I think it's the High Pressure hose (specifically the metal bit that runs between the two front wheels).

I'd appreciate if anyone could help me diagnose the issue. I'll attach a picture so you can see what I'm referring to

Can't really add much to your issue, but I would start there (high pressure hose) and quickly. Appears as though where it's leaking on the "frame", there is oxidation.

I had an issue years ago, but it "cured itself". Problem only happened when it was cold. I can't explained it.

Good luck! Report back on any findings!

Did you replace both the O-rings?
