Switching the AUX port to USB

Does anybody know if there are any OEM fit USB ports that can replace the AUX port? I can't seem to find anything online. I've seen some posts on fabricating a separate port, but I was hoping for more of a "drop-in" solution.

Yes, exactly. Any idea where to find one?

eBay, salvage yard, dealer.

These are parts for the USB port that's normally next to the accessory power outlet inside the console of '09-11 EX, Si and Hybrids.

Check out Porta USB Civic¬*-¬*Fit Fans Forum - it has pictures of some of the individual parts. The most important one is probably 39115-SNA-A11 which is basically the frame that the cable end exits from, with the cover labelled USB. You should be able to run whatever USB cord you want through that, but the OEM cable end is 38117-SNA-A01, and has a Honda proprietary connector that fits inside the frame.

I think the proprietary connector mates with 39116-SNA-A01 which you can chop and splice instead. The clip you see holding the cord in the original post is 39118-SNA-A01. Normally in the console, there's another clip to cap off and hold just the connector when it's not being used, but I think it was omitted in this install: part 39115-TK6-003.
