Question Speakers randomly quitting

2006 LX sedan. I randomly had speakers stop working. One by one the front right (and tweeter) went out, followed by front left, then back right. The only one left is by back left. It seems weird to have them all go out in under two weeks of each other. I'm planning on getting in there with my meter to check but has anyone else encountered this problem before?

My stereo failed like that. One side would die, then everything would be silent for a few days, then it would come back, and disappear again. I replaced the head unit, and all is well.
