If you're referring to the PC Card adapter, eBay and Amazon seem to be your best bet these days.

BTW, I got the Sandisk 6-in-1 adapter from Amazon (grrr to costing more for the shipping than for the item itself, although next-day shipping was nice :-D), and all the memory card I've tried so far have worked for me, although some of them render my navi a tad laggy. Here are the ones I've tried:

-32MB Canon SD card
-8GB Transcend microSD (in SD adapter)
-2GB Transcend microSD (in SD adapter)
-4GB non-HC SD card (pretty sure it's Transcend as well)

What is the factory slot used for in the car (I have Navigation)? This thread confuses me.

The PC card slot on your navi is used to play music off of memory cards. It can also be used to do backups and restore backups of the data on your navi as well, if you have a ver of the maps that supports it (for sure the '08 model and newer works, and '06 doesn't).

I'm using:

Transcend PCMCIA ATA Adapter for CF Card
SanDisk 8GB/30MB Ultra CF Card

The combination works like a charm -- haven't had any issues with songs not playing and it loads quickly.

Picked up the same setup and it works great. Few more features than the USB interface and significantly faster. Very happy.

Picked up a Transcend PCMCIA ATA Adapter and Transcend 4gb CF for less than 25$ on Amazon. When I first put it into the card slot, it was throwing a fit and kept crashing after 20 seconds of playing. I had no idea what was wrong. After doing some research, I converted all my music to a constant bit rate and now it works fine.

Deal at Amazon

I just ordered the transcend pmccia and transcend 8 gb cf card. Total including shipping was $30.00. Several reviewers on Amazon were civic owners. reportedly zero issues. While the 8gb is overkill...it's on sale n cheaper than the 4 gb...just passing it along.

Ok so not to bring everything back from the dead but after doing many hrs of searching i can't seem to figure out this damn PC Card. So my nav unit see's all the folders and files that i put on either my SD card or CF card. (yes i've tried both) but it won't play the music. just skips though the file names. anyone else have these issues? how did you fix them?

is it a file size issue? i have one track that's huge and it gets skipped - but most "normal" length tracks play fine

Partitioning a CF card

I realize this thread has been dead for a while but.... I've been using my phone to play my music through the audio jack, which works just fine. I have never used the PC slot but am going to start because it just seems more convenient as far as recorded media anyway. Anyone geeky enough to answer this question? Can you partition a large CF card and put the 999 song limit on each partition and get it to work? From what I see in the manual there is no category for the card to recognize two cards (sources) so I'm guessing not. But if it saw each partition as a folder? Someone mentioned problems with large folder sizes so that might be a problem, plus that wouldn't solve the 999 file limit. Anyway just a thought.

I've thought about this, but started using the AUX port like you. Do it and report your findings!

Well that idea went down in flames. I bought a 16 GB card just in case my idea worked and split it into two 8 GB partitions. Formatted and assigned a drive letter to both. Loaded songs on both , but the player only sees the first partition. There doesn't appear to be a way to access the second. So I guess the only way around the limit would be to load two songs as one maybe? But I think the metadata would keep you from fooling the device. I guess if I hit the 999 limit I can always get another card. I do like having the steering wheel controls for song selection even if it's forward, back and volume.
