You wont get the same exact match, the sun faded dash with new radio dash. Over time you will not care for it just get it to the closest color, plasti dip leaves a sticky touch and i can imagine the dust that sticks to it, you can get oem trim add on pieces or vinyl wrap

Quick question... I'm about to buy the double din pioneer and install package from Crutchfield but I have an oem remote start. Will the remote start be affected if I install the double din radio? I can't think how it would be but wanted to ask if anyone has experience. THanks

Correct you will lose your sub and tweeters via the bypass. Doesn't matter if it is a double din or single din.

you can hook the up to the front speakers and put some bass blockers on them or find a set of crossovers and use those.

I installed one of those cheap Chinese Android head units (Eonon), sorry this picture is kind of bad. This one comes pre-installed into their own dash kit. The unit isn't bad for the price but the angle of the screen makes it hard to see during the day sometimes. Apps like Waze work great if you're using your phone as a hotspot.

Installed a Pioneer AVH-X3800BHS in my hybrid. Works great and I love it much better than the stock nav unit.

I have a question I am going to hardwire into the factory aux in but I have no clue how to hook up the ground is it needed? Will static electricity kill it if the aux port gets zapped and not grounded? I was going to cut the heads off a 3.5 to rca cable and tap the factory harness.

Scosche HA1561TRB trim ring. Axxess ASWC-1 steering wheel control. Apple lightning to hdmi adapter with hdmi to composite converter for iPhone mirroring. I took the factory AUX input apart, put my aux cable inside it, and trimmed the inside of the cap so it would close flush. Looks and works great. DO NOT buy the Metra dash kit. The color is off, fitment is terrible, the screen leans so far back the glare is awful and the AC controls are too tight.
So just to be clear, if my Si already has the navi system I just swap this HU and use that Scosche trim ring?

That's pretty much what you did right?

I was looking into this Chinese Android head unit:

Seicane S127658L 16G Android 5.1.1 Autoradio Navigation Aftermarket Stereo for 2006-2011 Honda Civic with Quad-core CPU 3G WiFi DVD Radio RDS Bluetooth Mirror Link OBD2 Steering Wheel Control Quad-core CPU AUX

Just wondering if anyone else has used a system like this and how it performed.

Bump... anyone else get new radios? My 08 stock radio just took a dump. The display turned white in the middle and the cd player stopped working.

Hey everyone I'm wondering if anyone can help me make sense of wiring my new double din into my car I'm too impatient to wait for the adapter to come in the mail. Has anyone hardwired theirs into the radio harness itself and if so how did you do it

My wife wants/needs a new head unit in her '06 LX, and I doubt she has the premium audio.

Can someone recommend a straight forward plug and play deck with Apple Carplay?

She will most likely be running the stock speakers off of the deck as well.

Thanks in advance
