i bought it the other day will see when it shows up how it actually works. they claimed on the phone it completely cuts out the amplifier or can cut out whichever signals you want, such as just the sub or rears or fronts....from what they say though it's just a harness with long wires. You could probably make this wire setup yourself for 1/4 of the price minus the harness deal.

Good Morning..

I just got a 09 si sedan and love the car. I just bought the Pioneer MVH-300ex double din, Dash kit, New Pioneer 6.5 all the way around and 12 sub for the trunk with aftermarket amp. Sounds great right.. Nope.. No sound from the head unit.. Got on here and found out that I needed a bypass for the old factory amp under the center console.. So I'm looking into getting the bypass but wanted to know if there was a hack instead of getting the bypass. I mean my thought was to find the factory amp cut the speaker wires and re splice them cutting the amp out. Is it that simple or do you have to get the bypass? Thank you
