Looking for info on swapping the current R18 power steering pulley with one that is a smaller diameter. I need a few mm of clearance for the axle on the passenger side. Chassis is a bagged 08 coupe with a 3ish inch notch for axle on the passenger side and a 1-inch notch on the driver's side. drivers side lays subframe but on the driver's side I had to stop the notch or the axle will lay on the pulley when air'd out. I should only need a few mm to clear. I know the JDM motor is no power steering so it has a different smaller pulley but looks lite is is smooth and not grooved for the belt. Looking for an aftermarket option but am only seeing the # piece options and nothing for the power steering, Do the K/B/D/H series power steering pullies fit the pump? I have no issues changing the belt to a different size but have run into a wall when looking for options.
pic is current clearance. If I notch any more the axle will ay on the belt/pulley stapping me from starting the engine when lay'd out.
