Those who live close to the US border

Do you guys recommend going over the border to purchase gas? and do you pay with cash or credit card? As i plan to pick up some parcels from cross the border.

That I do! It works out to be about $1/liter. I pay by c/c but they take cash too. I live 5 mins from the border & have a nexus pass so it's easily worth my while!

i fill up in the states too. I live about 15-20 min away but after everything, I save about $15-20 a tank after the drive there and back! So worth it. I pay by cash..

I fill up at Point Roberts whenever I go down. $1.17 for premium versus $1.47 here? Yes please!

I also live about 10-15min from the border. It's worth the hassle, and if you don't have the nexus pass it is best to go in the morning before 10am, and at 9-10pm on weekdays. I've used credit and debit so far.

I also use 2 five gallon jerry cans to minimize crossing the border.
