GT-Spec Inner Fender Braces - PREORDER!

These pieces are brand-new and due in late August or Early September so get your pre-orders in now! Fitment is confirmed for SI sedans only as these were designed using the JDM Civic Type R platform.

Price = $210.00 shipped in the US. Sign up on the list below if interested in pre-ordering the first run we have on order.

We sell a LOT of GT Spec bracing for the 350Z and Subaru crowd and are always impressed with their products...

GTSPEC Fender Braces are constructed from Military-Grade 6061 aluminum from a CAD design The braces mount onto the OEM door hinge and the OEM inner fender, creating a triangular support that provides reinforcement where your car needs it most, between the uni-body and front sub-frame.

With GTSPEC Fender Braces, chassis flex in this area is virtually eliminated to help keep all movement in the suspension and NOT in the chassis. This leads to a more responsive handling characteristics under hard cornering.

They mount under the fender and bolt to the door hinge and the inner fender, connecting these two areas that flex under hard cornering and are usually held together by a few tack welds.

Here is a pic installed for the 350Z application - I'll see if install pics are available for our car. Wheel fitment is un-affected.

Thanks for the pic, very helpful. I for one am rather skeptical to how this would benefit on our applications. The front clip is so short I really can't see that much flex happening, but I am no engineer. Last thing I would want to do is add a few more pounds to the front end though.

Yeah. I'm not sure that adding bracing like this on a section as small as our fenders will do anything but add unnecessary weight.

The bracing ideology in Japan is known as Gacchiri Support (translated as Muscle Strength) because it's meant to add rigidity to this typically weak area.

They are used extensively in racing in Japan for many many models.

If you have installed any other bracing on the car (such as lower arm bars) this would be a nice compliment and offers benefits over other bracing such as:

-No lost ground clearance as it mounts under the fender
-Triangluates support for a weak area in the MIDDLE of the chassis as opposed to directly on top or on bottom like strut bars/lower arm bars.

Many Honda Fit owners report improvements upon installing such bracing. I'm putting the GT-Spec bars on my Fiance's Fit Sport soon

That is the info I have so far - you can pre-order now or simply wait for stock-in if you're interested.

Nice upcoming product for the sedan, these def make a difference on the B series Honda bodies, so im sure theres an improvement on our cars as well. I dont know if you've ever installed these but does it put your door alignment out of wack?, or do you have to realign your door when you install these?
