Polished EX wheels?

I thought about polishing the face of the spokes of my wheels, any opinions?
I was thinking about leaving the original paint inside the openings or possibly painting that portion body color. I actually like the wheels that are on it but want to make the car more unique.

Here is a picture of my car;

my friend is getting his to look "machined face" like the 99-00 si wheels. i think u should do it, it would look nice. i wanted to get ex wheels and get them polished but i went the aftermarket route. good luck!

Cool idea but painted surfaces do not stand up to stone chips and kerbs. Just be mindful of the peeling paintwork someday.

the painted surface will be in between the spokes so it will be fairly protected. And that is another reason that I was considering just leavine the factory painted finish on them and just polishing the outer surface of the spokes and the lip of the rim.

it would look half assed that way. polish the wheel and have them clear over it to protect the shine like the SI wheels or even accessory 16's for DX. but u no what. it might be cheaper just to buy these compared to paying to do all that. 166.00 each. doing all u want would run almost 200.00ea
