Seat of the pants feel with lighter rims.

Hi,

All things kept constant and only varying the rim weight. I understand that rotational weight plays a huge affect on overall acceleration.

Said that, going from OEM stock SI rims to a light enkei RPF1 or other 15 lbs rim (with low moment of inertia), how does it feel?

seriously, it feels like the vehicle is more nible and light on its feet. depending on the app, it can be a huge imporvement

It will feel completely different depending on how light the wheel is. I ended up going with 8.5" wide wheels that were 20lbs. So with the extra tire and only 3 lbs savings, mine felt about the same. If you were to go with something 15-16lbs, it would feel a lot quicker.

I went with a set of Kosei K1 17x7.5 (~16.7lbs), the car feels like it moves from a dead stop quicker than the stock wheels. Other than that, it doesn't feel all that different, at least not noticeable difference for me.
