Best tires for 1/4 mile race

ok so i might be goin to a drag race this suday, but i dont know what kind of tires i should get formy car, i am keeping the stock rims on but i do need new rubbers, my tire are old and one has a bubble in it, so please help me out.

are you looking for maximum traction just at the strip this one time, or something good performance wise overall with decent treadwear? what do you care most about traction, noise, life, warranty, etc? you are going to have to decide and probably pick a balance, not just what will get you the best times in the 1320. if that is your only goal you will get an answer such as "slicks"......something to consider.

thnks im looking for something i can use everyday and has good traction and performance, i dont go to the track often actually this is my first time, but i did need new rubbers for a while now,

u can use ur stock tires after being soaked in VHT on some cheap steelies.

^ i would but they are done for, i hit too mant pot holes here and they are horrible, but i found these are they any good, i dont know much about tires yet im still learning.

whata is a good place to find good tires i know u live in cali but like a good website or something and some good rims for a decent price.

I never bought either over the internet. THe only ones I really know are Tirerack and discounttire.com.

lol ya thats what i was looking at but tirerack is steep, and there is a discount tire by my house aswell, and i think they match prices, i hope so cuz then i will shop around like no tomorrow.
