WHats the Best Size Tire for the Best Ride? 215/45/17 - 225/45/17? or 215/50/17 ?
Whats the Best Size Tire for the Best Ride? 215/45/17 - 225/45/17? or 215/50/17 ?
Getting a new 4 door for my wife. I'm planning on getting some ACE or TSW wheels. The Car will not be lowered. She drives about 85 miles a day so for her it's all about the best/smooth ride. Whats the best size to go with and why? Thanks. |

Yes. (as long as you stick with a 17x7 wheel with +45mm offset you shouldn't have any problems at all)
The speedometer will be slow by ~3.4% though. So when your speedo says 60, you'll actually be going ~62. So you may want to have the speedometer calibrated after you get the tires if you decide to go that route. Last edited by PhoR11; 05-14-2008 at 12:12 PM. |
