So, before I could get my state inspection done, they wanted me to replace the right front tire. So I call up Discount Tire and have them order up 2 Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2's.
They put them on (front). I leave the shop.. and it's pulling hard core to the left. I immediately turn around and go back. They swap the front side to side. Now, pulling to the right. They order up one new right front. They say occasionally you can get a tire that has a radial pull or push. They also said that it is extremely rare to have a Michelin Pilot tire defected. I come back the next day and they put the new PE2 on the right front but then do a front side to side swap. So now the New New tire is on the left. I leave but its still pulling to the right which is odd. I would have figured it would pull left again. Two defected new tires? Nay~! Maybe? They said they would order up a new new right front (the original new one) and swap it. But eh.. I dunno. Do I pay the $100 to have a shop/dealership do the alignment? Just looking for suggestions. I am not going to allow the tires to become abnormally worn. By the way, 2 days prior I had a 20k maintenance check up. Where I had my tires rotates. Alignment was perfect.
