Drag wheels

Hey guys and girls...

Will these fit with the offset they have or you think i should look for 18's?

these are the same ones i was looking at. Im sure they will fit, but i was wondering if 225/45-17 tires would fit since these wheels are 17x7

As far as the rims go, i would like to know if the offset will be a problem. i cannot seem to find these in 18's though. thats really the size that i want. but i dont think that a 45 thickness on the tire would look right. I think that's too meaty for the car.

40 series on a 17 will make the rims look even smaller....and if your not dropped will make ur car look ridiculously high and if dropped still make ur car look higher than it should, and your speedo will be off and ride quality will be reduced

45 thickness of a 215. if someone were to change the diameter to 225, the 45 thickness would also change.

Just to clear it up, in case someone doesn't understand- the second number (in this case, 45) is a percentage of the first number (the tire's width).

I'm glad you all are here. I really do not want any issues with speedo misreading.
