Wheel Spacer really dangerous?

i read some posts but is wheel spacers really that dangerous because i was thinking of putting some on my car so the rim's are flushed w/ the fender, the mugen gp's on the mugen si sit well does anyone know if the mugen si's bolts or suspension sit out further than regular si's? thanks any input is appreciated.

wheel spacers have been known to ruin the wheel bearings. if you want a more flushed look get wheels that are 8 inches wide.

They dangerous if your lug nuts don't have enough thread in contact with the stud. I've actually seen wheels fall off as a result.
The mugen wheels probably just have a lower offset than the regular Si, I don't think they came with extended studs.

the mugens are +48 on a 7.5" i believe so they should be about 9 mm further out than stock si.
