Interested also because the type-s wheels have such a high offset, but i love these wheels. Is there anything bad with running spacers? Will it through anything off?

Do you have to have spacers for these wheels on the Ex?

depending on the design of the spacer youll have less thread for your lugnut to go on so less holding strength,it puts more stress on wheel bearings so it could shorten your wheel bearing life
i would recomend H&R they have good spacers

T1R offers a 3mm and 5mm wheel spacer kit. The 5mm comes with replacement long hub blots as well!

Would you even notice 3mm? Or are you doing it for actual function to fit your wheels? I'm getting spacers to push my wheels out to the fender more. I hate how the wheels are so far tucked in. I have +40 wheels and they just don't fit as well as I want them to. I really want to get some Gram lights but 359.00 per wheel is insane. But I will probably end up buying them anyway. lol.

Can I use the 10 mm spacers on the front as well? It says it's for the rear and the Civic isn't listed in the description. I want to widen the stance at all 4 corners.

i think this "agressive" look looks rediculous. especially when they're far out past the fenders, it looks like a jeep. i don't understand the appeal? i think the car looks much better with the wheel tucked in nicely to the well. it's more aerodynamic that way too.

Dude that's not even close to what I'm trying to do. I'm just trying to move the wheels out to be just a little under the fender a little more. Do you really think I wanted my wheels to stick out past my fenders. I think that looks rediculous as well. And also for the best aerodynamic qualities you want the wheel even with the fender. If not you actually get turbulence across the wheel when it's not. Look at any race car or high performance car. The wheels are exactly even with the fenders. you want the air to flow accross the fender and run over the tire. if it's in too much it will cause a swirling back efect accross the tire and actually cause drag. When GM had it's training center in Waltham they had a special class for their Techs to take when the new style Corvette came out and they showed it in the windtunnel to us to show all aspects of the new body and how efficient it was. And they made a special point about how there was a design that eliminated drag over the wheel wells. And it was attributed to the wheels being pushed out to fit flush with the fender and the design of the flare around the fender on the front. If the wheel sticks out even an inch past the fender it will also cause drag. It was an awesome learning experience for me. GM taught me alot while I worked for them. I used to work for Cadillac as a tech. Now I work for Goodyear. I'm not telling you this to be an ass or to toot my own horn. I'm the furthest from that. I just want to make sure you don't think I'm an idiot for wanting to have stupid wheels on my car. lol.

I am just to get the thinest ones possible cause I have a very small rubbing problem on big dips and/or bumps with one of my tires and springs
