Thank you UPS man! BBS RGR 's are here
Now the countdown to spring begins...actually no, its been on for quite a while now
wheel: BBS RGR 18 x 7.5 +45mm tire: General Exclaim UHP 225/40/18 These babies came just as I was about to start writing a paper yesterday, great timing! I snapped some pics as promised, but I really can't wait to see them actually on the car tho, damn! I had a tough time picking wheels this winter and there were a couple I had in mind, but now that I've got these in hand I'm 110% happy with the choice and I think its gonna compliment my ride real well (07 si coupe NHB). Gotta love that German engineering! ![]() ![]() ![]() What's the verdict? |

Psh... lame euro-crap. Everyone knows JDM is best and besides ARE CARS ARE JAPANESE!!!
Sorry, I just wanted to try channeling a 17 year old kid from West Covina. Didn't like it. Those wheels are forged sex. Zeus himself would roll on those. Awesome. Now mount them before I -rep you!! |

One point I wanted to make: These types of wheels typically look best if the car is sitting slightly lower than the Si does stock. I think maybe it linked to seeing them on BMWs and Porsches which usually have a bit less fender clearance. I don't know what you're suspension setup is, but lower than stock by maybe an inch or so would look righteous in my opinion.

they look good. other than the spokes falling short cause of the lip and making the wheels look smaller than they really are.

Ya good call...I usually buy the top end tires. But to be perfectly honest, I used all my extra dough (tax refund haha) on these rims...I had to go economical, at least for this season. Next year, who knows, I really like the Michelin Pilot Exalto's or the Sports. Getting back to these tires, in addition to them being the cheapest, they also came with some pretty decent reviews and scores from tirerack and this site. Based on that I thought I would try 'em out, at least this way I could afford the rims ![]() |
