That much difference?
I have 205/55/16 on my my car now...I'm going to 215/40/17 instead of 215/45/17 ........will I notice a whole of difference in terms of feel....I live in Boston so the roads are not like out west ...i.e bumps....I know it's not gunna feel as smooth but I'm wondering if it's gunna make a huge difference.......

well, running the 40 series drops the OD to 23.8 vs 24.6, which is 8/10 of an inch difference. Thats a pretty descent drop. It could slightly afftect the speedometer and odometer, but it shouldnt be a huge difference. it will also drop the load capacity and make the ride a bit harsher.
