new wheels...now i need tires

Got my wheels in today...they are mb motoring aka a-tech in japan weapon wheels. 17x8 with a 42 offset.

Now i need to find some tires, but am unsure of what size tires will fit best. I also plan on getting some lowering springs when I finally install the wheels this spring.

Try and get some more pics of the rims, lined up with the car too if possible. I'm debating on getting these for my Si.

How do you like them so far? Quality seem good?

hey who makes a tire in that size?
i've decided that my next tire is going to be the sumitomo htr z3 (highly rated on the tire rack website, and super cheap), but they don't make them in 225 (only 215)

edit: found em. got confused on tirerack.com

they look awesome. i looked on the sites though and they dont offer an 18 in our lug pattern with anything but a 30 offset. if your lowered i doubt it would work.
17's in the offset you got is perfect imo.

you might wanna look into a 235/40/17. if your not lowered TOO much it should fit that 8inch rim np.

I would go with either some BFG KDW, or Nittos Neogens are a fav on 8th, and also the elusive Yoko Prada Spec2. 225/40/17 FTW
