New wheels on stock tires.

Okay, so I got an LX with the decent looking wheel covers, however they are still wheel covers. So i was wondering if I could just get some 16" aftermarket wheels, take it to a tire shop and get them to put the stock tires on the new wheels? I'm 17 on a major budget so I don't have the money for new tires and I'd probly be getting Motegi MR7's of FF7's, let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Your stock 205/55 tires will fit a 16x7 rim. Both the MR and FF come in 16x7.

If you are are on a very strict budget, you might want to look for something other than Motegi. They can be a bit pricey.

Sorry, thought you were looking retail. I just checked Ebay and those Motegi prices are pretty damn good if you can get them at the low ball point. (lwo $300s for 4 wheels) Very nice.

How about buying some EX wheels with tires still on them? They're selling for around $500 on eBay.

I'll be putting mine up for sale next week.

Just watch out with Ebay, some of them dont give you what you ordered, just make sure they have sold alot, and also good feedback.

Rota wheels are cheap. Some will flame for apparent quality issues but they're lightweight and cheap. If one cracks, buy a new one. I've been tempted a time or two in the past.
