Spare tire question

I drive a 2007 Civic Si and I got a flat yesterday which really screwed me. The sidewall tore so the tire couldn't be patched. I have the OEM wheels on right now with Dunlop Wintersport M3s. Getting a new tire wouldn't be a big deal except since they're 215/45R17 winter tires I can't find them locally anywhere. I'm ordering one from TireRack but that leaves me stranded for a while because I can't put many miles on the donut.

So that got me thinking, what if I got a cheap 15 inch steel wheel and all season tire that are the same size as those on the Civic DX? If I get another flat like this, would there be anything wrong with having the one wheel on like that for a few days? It would have the same overall diameter as the others but it would be thinner and obviously less wheel/more tire. My summer wheels and tires are also OEM sized but a replacement would probably have to be ordered as well since the tire isn't the most common in the world.

I assume it would be fine temporarily given it's not put on a drive wheel but I figured I'd get an expert opinion first. Does this sound OK?

Just make sure it's in the rear and it shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah it wouldn't definitely be in the rear, thanks.
