help on fitment issues

Im looking to buy some Rota 18x7.5 5x100 offset 48 rims, but the seller said they wont fit on my 2007 civic sedan because of they have to get the hub bored out to fit my car.the wheels have a 56.1hb. Is it true? it wont fit my car because of the hub bore? also, would 18x7.5 wit 48 offset fit well on my car without any problems?

5x114.3 is the correct bolt pattern for us

The OEM wheels have a 2.5" or 63.5mm bore. Yeah so it sounds like you're SOL or you could be adventurous & get the hub bored out. I've heard of one guy who had it done. If you decide to do it you would need to bore the hub bigger by .291" or 7.4mm to fit.

Although its not the size I would pick the width and offset would work. But find a set of wheels that has the right bolt pattern

not without an adapter.

5 x 100 and 5 x 114.3 are two completely different bolt patterns.

u need 5x114.3.

FYI our hub bore is same as RSX, 64.1--not 63.5mm.

that is what the "x100" or x114.3" stands for. its the distance determined by that measure depending on how many bolts are being used.

Duely noted. I just measured one of my OEM wheels & used a converter to get the metric equivalent.
