I'm one to say "winter tires in the winter and summer tires for all other seasons"
do you have bad winters where you are?
If you do, then I'd say you made an OK decision.
If you don't, then it'd stil be an OK decision.

To me, with no snow, you probably get rain, and if you don't get rain then I assume it's dry all year long... why wouldn't you get summer tires? not just for performance but for good handling as well for emergency stops or whatever you might get into.

All seasons are no longer all seasons... more like competent-but-less-than-average seasons

I purchased a set about 2 weeks ago and think I made a good decision. They ride a lot better than the Michelin's IMO.

I have a set of Goodyear GT-HR all-season tires and love them. I have well over 10k miles on them. They ride great in the summer and in the rain. Sometimes when its icy and i slam on the gas they will skid, but any tire will do that. We have had bad snows here and i havent had a single problem yet (knock on wood). The only complaint i have is sometimes they will flatspot a little, but any low-pro tire will usually do that and it goes away after about 5 mins anyway

hope that helped

I had the first set in Minnesota when they came out in early July and I believe I was the first person to have them on the forum. They are fabulous tires. You can read my review as to how they perform in the summer: Just got new Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S put on my Si

As for the winter, they have been stellar so far. OP, you made a good choice. For a good, all around tire in every weather condition, they are hard to beat!

F1 all season's are very nice tires. i have mounted prolly 6 sets, and everybody that has got them on cars have been happy. im pretty sure they are around 420 tread life which is pretty good, michelin has a better tread life but there also more $$. but i would still get snow tires, im running hankook Ipike's, which are the best tire i have driven on in the winter. now i have a few more months to figure out what summer wheels to buy to put my summer tires on.
