If there's a way to change what? You "don't want rubbing issues or it to look dumb"? One. You never specified a WHEEL WIDTH. You're not going to rub anywhere if you're running a wheel width of 7" to 8" (conservatively speaking). Two. You never mentioned a TIRE SIZE. For all we know, you could be trying to fit 255 on your "+48 offset" wheels. Three. I repeat. Do you even know what +45 looks like?

Wheel / tire size calculator / comparer - WHEELSMASTER

Go here. Plug in the stock size (Si: 17x7 +45 215/45/17). Plug in your new setup (wheel size/offset and tire size). Scroll down and look at where it changes the numbers regarding suspension, fender, and wheel well clearance. Grab a ruler. Run outside to your vehicle of choice. Do some measuring based on the information given on your new setup.

The Wheel Gods have said this MANY MANY times, but please search. There are many threads dedicated to helping those to reach their crazy fitment goals and desires. The one thing they ask is that you help them help you. Take a look at what has been done in the past and go from there. If you like the look of someone's vehicle, ask them what they're done and what you can do to achieve the same look.

Oh. By the way, we're not a mean bunch of people. This question has been asked about 15 times throughout the course of this thread. I think Jeshua created the wheel fitment manual or whatever it's called so that the questions such as these will be greatly reduced. Apparently not because that thread has disappeared onto the FIFTH page, where 99.8% of 8thcivic users visiting this current sub-forum will never bother to read.

The Official Wheel Fitment Manual

In case you're curious.

I think this deserves a double pat.

I shall leave now.

You're kidding right? One. You never provided an OFFSET. Two. You never provided what TIRE SIZE you're thinking about going with. Three. Did you bother to read the first post of this thread?

1. wheelsnext.com hasent provided me with a offset. 2. obviously i dont know what tire size to go with. im asking which tire size is best for an 18 inch rim with a eibach sportline drop on a coupe. 3. yea i did read it, theres nothing about a 18.7.5 with a sportline drop, only for the pro kit... thats y i asked

A valid question...

Looking at those brand new VS-XX's huh?

They can work but that is just as aggressive as a 9" +30 setup, which with the exception of Nasif's setup is the most aggressive setup I have seen run on an 8thgen.

Only being dropped a small amount on the HFP suspension helps, however you would still have to run a fair amount of negative camber just to bring the wheels back within the fender's and rear qtr's, and you probably wouldn't want to run an overly wide/meaty tire.

I wouldn't stretch a 205 on an 8 or a 215 on a 9 on our cars. I don't mind the stretched tire look on some cars, but I hate it on ours and I think you can run atleast a 215/45/17 on the 8's and a 225/45/17 on the 9's if you run the right amount of camber.

Please tell me you aren't running a RWD stagger on your FWD car...

Still working on them. Going to require more work then I initially anticipated. Inner clearance FTL, but I will eventually be rolling on some different wheels... hopefully at some point this season but we'll see.
