I'm looking at getting a pair of Rota P45F, They are 18x8 with a +45 offset. Will these fit? and if so how sunken will they be?

Don't those ROTAs come in staggered form? Wait nevermind, you can order them in pairs.

17x7 45mm offset 215/45-17 (STOCK)
17x7 55mm offset 215/45-17 (1.5" Drop)

Hi juss bought a si, i was looking through the tire sizes and i dunt understand how things work. When a car is lowered shouldnt there be less offset space as oppose to more, it'll hit when you steer because its further in, wont it. im a noob at this correct me if im wrong. Im actually looking at the black azul7 215/45R17 40mm you think itll fit with a 1.5" drop. thank you

Less offset the rim goes out.
More offset the rim goes in.

That's as basic as it is.

but wut im sayin is wont it go too far in? for the 1.5" drop with 17x7 55mm offset

shouldnt it be sticking outward? instead of inward

anyways u think 17x7 40mm will fit with the car lowered 1.5"?

thank you

No you got it wrong. The lower offset pushes the rim outside and the higher the offset the more it goes inward. Whatever that means.

I got rubbing with an 18x8 with 35 offset, but I was lowered on Eibach Sportlines, which are a 1.4" drop. You may be safe with the HFP suspension, because I hear that it's not as low as just springs, and you may not even bounce low enough to rub along the top of the fender like I did.

You'd have to go with at least 225/40 simply because of the width of the wheels.

There's two quick ways to fix that... Go to a 215 tire or roll your fenders

Sorry I left a little info out there didnt I. This is the wheel tire combo that I am running on my 07 Si and I have no rubbing issues but I ran the same set up on my 06 Ex and I rubbed when my trunk was full under light cornering, or if I had 2 or 3 people in the car. If it was just me I only rubbed when I was railing a corner. Sorry for the lack of information on that post.

I decided on a rim for my EX Coupe and by reading up on this site they should work. 18x 7.5 +42 offset with no drop...but the bolt pattern is 5x4.5....a couple sites i've looked at say they will work...but i've been there and paid the 15% restocking fee on sending rims back on another car i had...will they work?

5x4.5" is the same as 5x114.3mm. It'll fit.
