I'm looking at some 19x8.5 rims 43mm offset. 06 SI, fitment issues? I'm not lowered now but if I do lower it, it will either be the comptech springs or the HPF set. Should fit, yes/no?

It might rub, I dunno. I have HFP Suspension with 18X8" no problems. 8.5" you might have to get your fenders rolled.

from what I've read, 225/35's. This is just a consideration that I'm liking yet not at the same time. I think some nice ass 19's would look clean and stylish but also could be a PITA with rubbing.

That shouldnt be an issue. Make sure to check the clearance of the caliper. But going off of the above posted fitments it should work. Keep us posted.

Got the tires today and tried em on. Fits nicely and they clear the calipers. I probably have a little less than .5 inch clearance from the inner wall of the rim to the caliper. The offset makes the wheel sit in a little bit but I couldn't hear any indication of rubbing at all.

Overall I'm pretty pleased.... I'll be stylin' lude rims for the winter!
