Work just fine no rubbing what so ever.
Changed these out due to too small, messed with speedometer. Tire place then put some 225/45/17's on and now these rub with the 35mm offset...... MAn Im pissed....

Bad news, this rubs when bumps are hit. Its hitting the outer fender and actually took out a clip on either end this morning. Would an Enkei with 42mm offset work with 225/45/17 ?? Im at my wits end..

42mm should work fine. its 3mm outer which is ok with most cars. I don't see an issue. Good lucj

UPDATE 7/24/06

soo....let me get this straight, 18 x 7.5, +40mm offset, 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern, with 225/40/18 tires will fit on my 06 civic si on the stock suspension? yeah, ii'm going for show car this time...i did the racing thing back then on my 2000 civic si, but it wasnt worth it...went through too many blown motors (and i ran no juice or forced induction, all motor baby...toda spec b! so i'm gonna be conservative this time. but if someone can confirm that the set up i just mentioned will work without rubbing or problems. thanks!

my old rims... RH C2s 19x7.5
[(+44offset) FigiSi06 please correct my mistake.thx]
was running with 3mm spacers and still sunk into the fender too much

So i changed it to...this

NEW WHEEL FITMENT.

19x8 (+40offset) TSW vortex.
lower with TEIN SS w/2.25inches drop.

sits right with fenders in the front.
i believe the rear can go as high as 19x8.5 (+40offset)

Conclusion: 19x8 (+40offset) with 2.25inch drop will work.

According to my "expert" (discount tires assistant manager who owns a 06 civic ex), this combination will work - I will post results in the next couple weeks

HPD Spinout 17x7 rims w/ 40mm offset
225/45/17 Kumho Ecsta ASX tires

Its going to look pretty good imho - so I sure hope it works. WToo bad I can't afford Pirelli's or Toyos, but the Ecstas are rated much better than the stock Michelin Pilots that come on the Si in almost every area!

We shall see!

So I purchased my tires before the rims because the price was so damn sexy... I bought stock size 215/45/17. I really want to buy the Buddy Club P1 Racing SF rims, I assume I need to buy 17x7 114.3 x 5, but what offset will I need if I am looking at a 1.5" drop with ksports?

forgive my newbieness to all this but if you say

SEDAN
17x7 42mm offset 225/45-17 (lowered on Eibach Pro Kit)

does that mean it will work ONLY if lowered, or it will work, EVEN if lowered?

and then what kind of spacers or removers would i need for this?
