As far as the width of a PVC pipe I'm really not sure if one width would work better than another. I have a Nevada BlackJack racing jack. They make a few different models, and there not that expensive, there light, and they fit under just about any car. They make fast pump racing versions but to be honest I prefer the more traditional style that allows you raise and lower the car as much as you'd like. |

The offset is pretty low and it being a 8.5" wide wheel you are definitely going to rub on the skunk2 drop. and i wouldn't recommend putting a 215 width tire on a 8.5" wheel either...

Ideally you'd want more tire of course..I plan on getting 225s and mine are only 7.5" wide. IMO I think he'll be okay..but it isn't ideal at all for performance. His wheels won't fit if he runs big tires with that offset anyway. Last edited by friedk; 04-10-2008 at 10:09 PM. |

hmmmmmm....
well asdf0123 is running the exact same size/0ffset wheels with slightly wider tires but same ratio (235/40/18). So his would actually be taller. Hes also dropped on Tein S-tech His ride seems to be ok. I think it looks really good. What do yall think? "Let me intrOduce myself..my name is.." |

ive already searched and could'nt find a solid answer so i was hoping yall could help. I was wondering if i would have any issues running a 17in rim with a +20 offset when the rim is only 7in or 7.5in wide on stock suspension?(im goin light weight) and as far as tire size id try to keep the overall tire diameter close to stock as possible.

The New Orleans?
I dont know how that would look especially stock, but those would stick out past the fenders a bit. You could run it without rubbing but idk how it would look. You would most likely need some camber and be fine at stock height, but I'm not entirely sure. |

The picture of peenoy's old setup you posted was with a 7.5" wheel with an efective offset of +20 (with a spacer), and they poked a little in the back. A 7" wheel with a +20 offset would sit a 1/4" further in or about 6.5mm. I wouldn't run it, not only would it poke past the fenders, but with a sportline drop and 225's you will definitely rub. |
