Instead of 225/40, would 215/40 be able to give me that stretched tire look if i have 18x8 33offset?

Would that have more clearance, esp w/ a pro-kit drop (1")?

i really don't want to roll or have to put a camber kit

There are a couple people running that spec wheel on an 8thgen that I know of. One is lowered w/ a 215/45 and the other is not lowered with a 225/45. With an HFP drop you should be able to get away with a 225 but I honestly wouldn't go with a 235 with that low of an offset.

I will be running 17 x 8 +32 dropped on TEIN SS coilovers and I am going to have to run a 215/45 with a fair amount of negative camber. Without being able to adjust your camber you might run into some rubbing.

mean you'll be sitting a bit past the fender you kinda have to run a coil over so you can lower it just right and you'll need a lot of camber very aggressive i like i like.. you my sir are daring

Haha, in the front they actually sit flush and I mean FLUSH with the fenders. In the rear they might sit a mm or 2 past the fenders but probably not even that much (and thats with -0.8 degrees of camber). I won't have to run that much negative camber, especially if I roll the fenders.

No way your fitting a 9.5" wheel on a 8thgen without some serious fender and suspension modifications. Offsets would also help, but judging by the widths I'm guessing there pretty low.

Will that work:

19x8.5 - 20mm offset 225/35/R19 with 1.6 Drop (Neuspeed Springs)

the wheels are also available with 45mm offset, what should i take?

Thats very aggressive.. you'll NEED to roll your fenders, and IDK how much camber you'll need to run, but you can make it fit with quite a bit of work.

x2

Anythings possible...but for one I wouldn't rock 19's on an FA or FG let alone any Civic, and two with that width and offset you would be poking a good 20+ mm past the fenders.

Just mounted the following:

wheels: Enkei GTC-01 17x8 +48
tires: 245-40-17 Potenza RE01R

haven't seen noticed rubbing issues yet. I did several full turns with the wheels turned 100% in both directions and nothing. Hopefully it won't rub when I'm taking sharp turns and body roll enters the equation.
