Does anyone have know if a 18x8 +50 offset rim would fit on either a 215 or 225 tire with the HFP drop?

Both should work fine.

yes, they'll stretch a little, but they fit.

I've seen this question asked a few times but no definite answers. I want to run 18x8.5 rims, 45mm offset, and 235/40-18 tires. Ride height is adjustable w/ coil overs (not too picky as long as I can drop it to make it look clean).

That is going to cut it close and might rub your suspension.

You are adding 1.5" of wheel width at the stock offset. You will have 19mm less clearance on the inside, and another 19mm coming out from the fender.

mmm, I know it's gonna be close, I just wanted to see if it was doable. The 225/40-18 looks alright and fits nice nice according to hearsay by others on this forum. IMO the 235 width looks better better, and of course I don't want to be the first fool to try it and have a set of tires I can't use.

I want to use the Prokits to achieve a low look on the car without actually dropping it too much; had sportlines before and loved them, but this time don't wanna go that low..

So if I get 17x8 offset 42 and 235/55 tires, would that be an ok/no rubbing no issue set up?

..or should I go with another tire height/offset?

that tire is HUGE.. IDK if you wanna go 235.. but if you do have a 40 profile... 215/45..225/45..235/40

They might not save your rims but they will make noise before the curb can get to them if you are going into the curb at a narrow angle.

So according to that civic with =>>> 17x8 42mm offset 235/40-17 (1.4" drop w/Eibach Sportlines)... NEW Wheels!!!! WedsSport TC-005 & Falken Azenis RT-615

Will I be able to do the same with out rubbing, with my SI Sedan on stock suspension.... Or maybe later on lowered on the same 1.4 Eibach Sportlines???

Any opinions would be great!

17x7.5 42 offset on 215/50/zr17 works.
