![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Owner = speedracervroom if you want more info PM him. front offset is extremely weak.. back should be an inch higher, with 5mm less offset to pull it off, rather than tucking the wheel.. they stretch tires for a reason.. lol Last edited by jrotax101; 02-11-2009 at 07:39 PM. |

heres one that works
this is my 18x7.5 +37, with 225/40/18 tires, and hfp drop ![]() its flush, it looks good, my tires actually fit, i rub very little, and i also have 0 camber. i could probably get rid of the rubbing altogether, but i dont like uneven treadwear and i also like to drift it a lil bit(as much a fwd car can anyway) if i wanted to go a lil bit lower, i could prob add about 1-1.5 deg of negative camber in the back and still be fine.

if looks are your only concern then by all means do it... i'd just hate to see someone get hurt from running an unsafe setup because they saw it on here and thought it "looked cool"..
for me personally, i drive my car daily. i need something safe and reliable. hence why i run what i do. Last edited by rwc; 02-13-2009 at 01:01 AM. |

Perfect example... Or even your car Jason once you get your new wheels on! And hopefully mine soon enough ![]() Quote:
If i were you i would atleast dial in -1.5 to -1.75 degrees up front and about -1.0 out back (which is stock). It will improve your handling, and eliminate any rubbing you may have. |

I think you want a bit of camber, even stock specs have some camber. I'm running a similar setup 18x7.5 +32 on 225/40/18s as well. |

There's a chance I might be running something VERY similar to the Feel's FD2 this season
Jason, where did you see the tire specs on the Feel's car? I have read the front wheels are 18x9+35's but I really wonder if that's true. They look 9.5's to me, but I might be able to verify what they are this weekend. Last edited by dt07Si; 02-13-2009 at 01:34 AM. |
