Please help tire and rim size... searched

Evening all,

I have searched through numerous threads and the whole tire/ wheel fitment thing just gets me so friggin confused.

I am looking to fit 17x7.5" wheels with 35mm offset on a coupe that has HFP suspension (0.8-1" drop)

I live in Vancouver and get a tonne (canadian spelling) of rain. I am looking to get some Goodyear Eagle F1 All seasons to combat mother nature. What size should i be looking for?

Tire rack has the following sizes

205/45ZR17
205/50ZR17
215/45ZR17
215/50ZR17
225/45ZR17
225/50ZR17

I figure anything 235 and up would be too big. Can anyone suggest which size would be best. I definitely don't want rubbing and I'm completely lost.

Thanks in advance!

215/45/17's are the safe route.

Same tire diameter = speedo wont be off.

With that offset the 215 will be least likely to rub.
