Max Wheel size for 06 LX Sedan

I know this might have been answered but I wondering if anybody knows for sure. I in the process of looking for some wheels for my 06 LX Sedan but I would like to get a idea of what avaliable. I heard on various threads that you can't go any higher than 16 on the Sedan but Tirerack has options for 20". I was looking at getting some black AEROSPEED 18". So is it possible to go higher than 16 on a LX Sedan. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I got a EX sedan put 18x7.5 offset 50, with bridgestone 225/40/18 it rides fine, there is no rubbig, although the tire are shit, I ll get some pilot ones, the offset must be 50mm otherwise you ll rub, or you can try a 18x7 45mm offset with 215/40/18 tires it works fine, too.

I actually have 18 x 7.5 offset 48 rims with 225/40/18 on my Sedan. Fits nice, no rub rides great.

Thing with anything over 16" is that your odo is going to be a little off. I've also seen cars posted on another thread with 20 rims.

So....to give an answer, yes you can go bigger than 16 easily. Just gotta be sure that they'll fit without rub, or else you'll have some headaches to work around.

Hey I have some 18"x7.5 with a 42 offset and they fit with lots of room with a 225/40/18 Falken 512.

I did originally have General Exclaim UHPs witch for some reason fit so much bigger in the same size 225/40/18 that rubbed.

Someone else also has a 18"x7.5 with a 42 offset wheel and running a Kumo tire and is not rubbing. He has also lowered his car 1" I think his name was bradvb. Do a search.

Hope this helps I would not hesitate to go with the 18"s

Honda Recommend 16 inch only. So, how does using 17 inch up effect your warranty with Honda

I have the stock SI 17" wheels on mine with the 215/45 R17 tires to match. It actually rides really nice with the stock suspension. It didn't make the ride quality that much harsher (you will notice a little difference, but the stock suspension is a nice ride) And it will make the handling much better. I probably wouldn't go any bigger than those. Gas mileage is still around 36 mpg. It dropped from the 38 mpg I got before.

I think these guys have probably already made their choice since this thread is 28 months old.
