what size of winter tires and rims can i put on my 2007 Civic Si?

Hi i was wondering what size of winter tires and rims can i put on my 2007 Civic Si? i currently have 215-45R-17 but would like to downsize to 16 for winter...which size would fit? thank you

I don't believe they'll fit, at least in the front. I am 70% certain.

if i get 205-55-16 will that be too wide for winter tires? and also is that a good size?

You can fit 16s, like the RSX-S (IIRC) wheels. The only thing is, not all wheels will fit, as you need caliper clearance.

As far as what width, I'm not sure. I'd think a 205 would be fine though. Then again, I live in temperate SoCal, I have no experience with snow other than the occasional bout when I go snowboarding!

I got 16" steelies from my old 06 lx for the winter....Should be good for the winter but next year I'll have to get snow tires mounted..

on tire rack it says 205-55-16 but dont u think its wide for winter tires?

They will fit fine... a lot of people are running 205/55/16 for winter tires.

you most def ca fit 16s, but it must clear the brakes. there are quite a few options on the TR website you can look at. remember that if you decide on something, to use the banners on this forum to get to the website, so the forum gets credit!

X-Ice are great winter tires just pricey...

Im running a 205/55R16 winter setup myself, but Im using Italian made winter tires
