Question on Rotas...

Ebay Auction with the Rotas in question.

Which offset makes the wheels poke out farther from the car, the 35 or 45 offset? Dont know much about offsets. Also what do you think about the gunmetal one pictured by the sizes on a 2dr NHBP Si?

Thanks!

The lower the offset, the more it pokes out. 35 offset fits, just be sure you're not slammed--if you are you'll need negative camber. Gunmetal IMO is the best color for NHBP (bronze is great too).

Try calling Subydude or 18racing.com to see if they have in stock--according to that auction if it's on backorder then you'll have to wait (maybe a couple of months since it's probably coming from the Philippines). Ask the seller if your desired color/size is in stock before buying.

45 offset would be the safer way to go, but wont look as good because they will be more tucked in.

No drop yet. Looking to do HFP drop after wheels. Should I be ok with 35 offset on the HFP drop?

35 offset will be fine as long your not dropped more than an inch. i have Rota D2s 17x7.5 with 35 offset and the only problem i have is that i have a 225/45-17 tire which is slightly wider than stock and it rubs a little but only in big dips on the road. i suggest staying with the stock size tire and you'll be fine.
