would a 18x8.5 running on 245/50/18 fit

hello guys im trying to find out if 18x8.5 running on 245/40/18 fit on a lx with tein springs

Doubtful. I found out yesterday that I run slightly in the front on large bumps using 18x8 45mm with 225/40/18.

The difference in tire size and rim width would probably make you rub.

It will rub quite a bit unless you roll your fenders and trim the liner. 225/40/18 will work.

Has your car been aligned since lowering and the new wheels? If not have it done and get some camber bolts up front. You can haev your alignment specialist dial in a small amount of negative camber to get rid of any rubbing and actually help contribute to a more neutral handling balance.

235/40/18 should work fine, provided it's a mild (1") drop. Also really depends on your offset.
