18" wheels, S-TECH or PRO?

so i got tenzo gt-5 18" gloss black rims, 225/40/18

now the question i need asap.

EIBACH PRO
OR
TEIN S-TECH?

ive heard some places that s-tech is for 18" and eibach for 17".. but my wheel company says the eibachs will do fine.

any feedback/pics/advice before i go with the eibachs?

Well Eibachs are black and they will be not as noticably changed by Honda... just my 2 cents.

the s-techs should be compared the sportlines...since they are about the same drop.
the pro-kit is a very subtle drop...only about 1", and can be compares to the h-tech springs.

the offset/width of the wheel is what will determine what springs can fit....or vice versa. but htere are peopel on this forum with the s-techs and 18" rims.

What nighthawk said. Almost any drop can accommodate a 7.5 inch wide
wheel with the correct offset.

^i would have to say yes. unless its really wide with a high offset, you should be good.

Here's a pic of my drop with 18X7.5 with Tein S techs. Ride is great...although when I hit a dip I can hear them rub a little bit.

Not true - it doesn't matter what wheel diameter you choose with these springs. More importantly, you will want to keep the tire size in mind as it will effect the overall diameter.

Either springs will work just fine. The Tein S-techs are more comparable to eibach sportlines in the drop they provide. Eibach's pro-kit is more comparable to the Tein H-tech springs.

Both are quality items - I prefer the Eibachs on this particular application.

based on info that you gave (wheel size and tire size) my best bet is go with pro kit. it doesn't really matter which one you choose, but guaranteed your tires will be rubbing with your fender when you hit a pothole in the freeway. i got the same tire size, except smaller,(225/45/17) and I'm already having rubbing issues with outer fender rubbing with my tires. especially with the front tires. it maybe different on your situation. just my two cents! good luck with your choice!
