I'm thinking about the Tracklite 2.0 in gunmetal with the machined lip for my Tango sedan. I like them a LOT. Thumbs up for a killer combination!!

HAHA, I am between the Traklite 2.0 and the SSR Type-C RS.

Both are 17 and under 15 lbs. But i just dont know if i want a polished lip, or a solid color.

Nice wheels though, both of them.

I did a black wheel with polished lip on my C55 and loved it. Here's a reference pic:

Going for the same kind of look on the daily driver, too. Here's the Tracklite 2.0 for reference in case anyone is interested:

look to small. Looks like 16's or something. Drop the car, hopefully that'll help. Great looking rim though!

No vibration issues that I have noticed, up to over 120mph+.

Unfortunately, to stay in 'Stock' class I am quite limited in what can be used for drops. I am not a fan of lowering springs while retaining stock dampers. I'd like to change out to new springs/struts, but that would remove me from 'stock' class.

It is not about 'looks', chief. If you race in stock class in an SCCA club or sanctioned event you must stay with the same size wheels as stock. Yes, it is all about the reduction in weight (and the associated improvements in cornering, breaking, a bit of bottom end acceleration).

I could give a rats ass about how they look (well, I lied, if they were pink we'd have an issue). I have ZERO interest in putting 'bling' wheels on this little car. It is used for evening fun, and weekend auto-X. My aged group puts me a bit beyond caring what other drivers think of my wheel's appearance.

Stock class is a driver's class. With the limited modification allowed, the depth of your wallet is less of a factor than driver skill.

Stock Si rims are low 20lb's and definately not 32 lbs each.

Aww, children!

The rims are a great choice Janizary. It's frustrating to see the mentality of "mob tuners" who do everything that "you're supposed to do" (i.e. -big rims, lowered, etc) without realizing that it will most likely end up making you slower.

Lowering springs with proper dampers eat up all of your available travel so if you encounter a bump on a high speed corner, it compresses into the bumpstop and loss of control ensues..

Agreed. My rims weighed in at 23# per (27# box, less 4# for the box).

That provides roughly 9.X# of weight savings per wheel in 'raw' weight. Somewhere over at ToV there is a formula for calculating the rolling weight savings for inertial and rotational mass, which is significantly higher than the raw weight as it affects performance and handling.
