18x8.5 fitment

Looking at a 18x8.5 wheel with a 48mm offset 5x114.3 bolt - will this fit the si? recommended tire size?
Thanks - and sorry if this has been asked - I tried searching...

18X8.5 45mm offset 235/35-18 will fit, I'm not sure how to do the math for +3 offset to make 48 though?

I installed my 18X8.5 (45mm offset) Gram Lights yesterday with 225/40 rubber and no fitment issues. I've been told by several folks (including Tirerack) that 235 rubber would require the wheel well lip to be rolled.

Sorry about that, I meant to type 225 - on a side note just an fyi

when the speedo says 65 mph with those 18"'s you'll actually be going 63.9 mph so thats 1.1 mph off - and thats a good thing because you'll be less likely to get a ticket!

how low is ur car? would ride height affect the tire / tein coil rubbing (aside from the fender rub if any)? any pix of ur ride, i'm thinking of doing similar setup.

235's will rub on a car with 18x8.5 wheels that is lowered 1.5 inches or more. It may be possible to dial most of it out with negative camber.

A 235mm tire will also rub on the Tein coilover body because it is noticably thicker than the OEM shock body. You would want to run a small spacer to clear the coilover but that would mean even more rubbing on the outer fender/liner.
