dark theme+a$$hole cop=wheel color change

well i got pulled over the other night at a freakin gas station, must of been a slow night cuz about 6 cop cars were there just because i have smoked head and tail lights. the initailly came cuz there were people loitering in the parking lot, and at the time i was cleaning my windshield at the gas station.

so i jump in my car to leave, roll the car 15 feet and a swarm of cops are all over me. i was like wat the ****!? i didn't even rev the motor none the exit is down hill so i just let out the hand brake and rolled.

so then this dick cop like literally jumps outa his jeep and starts going off. he said(screaming like an idiot for no reasing just trying to ack all hard cuz he's a cop)

okay i was pissed to say the least, i just got off overtime work too

1. he never even hear my exaust cuz i rolled out of the gas station
2.the cop car behind him get covers over his headlights
3.he only assumed my tint was dark(whitch it is) but still
4. my f@cking radio was off.

then another cop steps in and asked where u came from? i told her work. she asked to see my uniform. i lifed my shirt off the chair. she asked if i knew one of her friends and i said yea thats my supervisor. then she said u know wat just go home, no worry about that asshole just go strat home. she handed me my papers and i went strat home with no tickets.

so i took the smoke film off my head and tail lights cuz i dont want to deal with this again. the tint is staying on tho.

but my car looks funny now with the bright shine of the head and tail lights with my black wheels. so im going to paint my wheels a different color and i want and opinion on wat color to paint them now.

this is wat my car look like now. as u can see it was a dark theme. but i cant have that anymore. so let me know wat u think i shoud paint my wheels next.

Wow, what was up with that cop? Well since you can't have the tinted headlights and tail lights anymore.... I guess what you could try is GG to match the body or maybe try and get that color code for the HFPs and paint your stockers that color.

I think your car will still look good with the head light and tail light film off. I wouldn't repaint them unless you really feel the need too.

To be honest with you, I think your car would still look good without the tints! As for the wheels I think if you could match the HFP wheel color it might look better! Cops are like everybody else, you're bound to find a jerk0ff in the bunch.

Your lighting tint was illegal. Whether you were called on it or not, whether he was a jerk or not, it was illegal and more importantly from a safety standpoint it was stupid and immature. If your ego is a 9.9 and your self image / self confidence is a 0.1 then paint the wheels any color you want, otherwise roll with a good looking car with good looking wheels and hope the illegal tint alone isn't enough to get you profiled next time.

seriously all of those you listed you cannot be pulled over for, they are add on tickets, well except the front plate. I'd put one on if I were you if they make a big deal about it.

A police officer doesn't need a reason to pull you over. That's what they call "suspicious activity". No real reason, just a made up reason to pull you over or come over to say something.

Secondly, if your shit is illegal than it's illegal. He shouldn't have been a dick but then again you know what is right and what is wrong but you choose the wrong path.

I don't know about down in the states but up here in Canada, when they pull you over even for suspicious activity, they have to tell you why, and if they are ignorant and unprofessional you can contest it even if you are in the wrong, if taken to court you will win and possibly set yourself up for a suit against said officer.

However, I recommend everyone carry a digital audio recorder with them at all times. If you get pulled over, turn it on. This way you can prove contempt of cop.

Most of the time, it won't help, but someday you'll wish you had one.

Also, a cop doesn't need to meter your windows. If he can see they are way too dark, then he can tell.

So if the legal limit in your state is 32% and your's are 27%....he should meter it. If you're rocking 20% or 5% (which meter about 15% and 3%) then he doesn't need to meter it.

Im sorry to hear what you had to go through, and on top of that you have to change the look of your ride (which btw looks f'n badass). I have to agree with the previous post though that if its illegal than the cop was doing his duty. Obviously that doesnt excuse his a$$hole attitude, but still dude you were bound to get caught sooner or later, and you got no ticket so you're lucky. Anyways ... I think you should just keep the wheels the way they look now, you did a good job on them and I dont think the stock lights will look out of place with them on. Contrast is always good. jmo.

Nope. That's why every place that has cameras or audio recorders they have to have a sign in clear visibility.

However the government can record you and you not know it somewhat. If they suspect you of criminal activity they can video tape, audio record, phone tap and any means necessary to convict you of the crimes. Other than that you will still see signs if a certain intersection is being recorded "Is under video surveillance".

I think it's legal to record a two person conversation as long as one person is aware of it.

Frankly, you deserve to get popped for the headlight and taillight film. That shit is dangerous. And it looks criminally ugly.

The cop probably assumed you were trying to flee the scene, which gave him reason to believe that you knew there was something wrong with your car. He didn't have to act the way he did, but sometimes people are dicks. I wouldn't start down the path of audio surveilance just yet. If you knows you're recording him all he's going to do is control his tone, get more annoyed with you, and start nitpicking the shit out of your car (tire tread check is notoriously lame).
