ordered Bridgestone potenzas, is this a fair price,

ok i just ordered 4 bridgestone potenza re960as for 160 each, on the car (mounting balanceing and new valve stem) so the grand total comes out to a final price of $640. is that a fair price.

i got a quote for the eagle f1's. they were $158 each. i believe i made the better choice by goin with the potenzas rite

i mostly wanted the bridgestones cuz of the ratings for the winter, if it wasnt for that i would have went with the eagles, but i expected the eagles to be a lil more cheaper than the bridgestones

I used to work

For firestone, they would charge like 40bucks a tire for mounting, so if you got it for that much, believing that you got 215/45/17, that sounds like a pretty good deal, tire rack has the tires priced at 148, so for mounting and balancing to cost only 12 bucks more, pretty good.

www.tirerack.com 's price for 4 tires shipped was $607.14. thats cheaper than any other place by me, just for the cost of the tire. so im glad i found this place, i got a better deal with them instead of buying them off tire rack and then have them installed.

$640 is my total cost to get the 4 new tires installed.

$607.14 is shipped from tirerack, ( cheapest in my area, that i found)

difference between the 2 is 32.86

32.86 divided by 4 is $8.25.

now if i bought the tires from the internet and tried to find some place install them it would have been alot more than just32.86 for all four

Yeah

the try to sell their tires at retail price, which is like a grip more than tire rack, tire rack has it at invoice so to speak, its as cheap is it gets, and they dont' charge tax, but you have to pay for shpping which is the same, haha, one charge for the other.
