Swapping wheels from summer to winter
I got 18in wheels and its lowered with skunk 2 springs. if i swap wheels to my stock ones during the winter months, will i need to get an alignment everytime i swap them? i just wanted to know because i am wondering if i should get summer tires or all-season.

You only need an alignment if you play with your suspension
in this case, if you're just swapping, no alignment needed... unless you've hit a pothole or something edit- and if your winters are bad.. all-seasons are out of the question. Do everyone a favour and get proper winter tires. not only will you have more control over your car, and in case of emergencies... it will be worth it. |

No, you don't need an alignment. I used to swap back and forth on a 16v Scirocco between my summer tires on BBS wheels and the stock 16v Scirocco wheels. They were different diameters and tire widths.
