I really want to get a set of wheels

I keep changing my mind on aftermarket rims, I figure to end all this maddness, should I just get the HFP wheels? or at least some other OEM wheels? What are your takes?

To all those that own HFP wheels, did you wish you would have chosen aftermarkets?

for the price of HFP wheels, i would get aftermarket wheels. but then again youre getting OEM quality wheels. but the thing is, youre getting OEM wheels. id go with after market just to be diffrent from other 8th gens

i got HFP wheels, but they were for the Accord(EP-R5's), and not too many people are running them on the Ocho. I like simple and clean so they suited me. I think i counted like 3 or 4 with them but a heck of a lot more with the HFP wheels for the SI. OEM wheels are OEM so thats a plus. Aftermarket is more as just preference unless you go with light weight wheels(lighter wait means better acceleration and handling due to the lighter load) which are considerably more expensive. I say go aftermarket just to be a little different.

Aftermarket. Get some lightweight wheels, enjoy the diet, and have that more personalized touch.

id say after-market it slims the chance of you having the same wheels as someone else also you can get better deals on them as well. And yes the new TL-s rims are sweet. as far as after-market id look into Enkei's new line up for race wheels they are very light weight and affordable and not too many people have them right now on there civics

OEM - you won't be paranoid about bending a lip or other damage. If you do screw one up you'll still be able to get one years later.

Perfact match...IMO

I have HFP 17" wheels with 225/45-17 tires for several reasons. 1) I think they are the perfect color contrast for my ASM EX coupe. 2) I like the flat surface created by the 7 spoke pattern with no rim lip. 3) The color hides brake dust from showing. 4) Because of the combination of the wheel width and tire width there are no rubbing issues even with my HFP Sport suspension. 4) Factory warranty. 5) IMO...Being a factory product, it will increase my resale value instead of like most aftermarket wheels it tends to decrease the resale. value. Finally some pictures...
