All-seasons ---> Michelin Pilot Sport PS2

So, Monday I was driving to work and was jamming a corner. As I made the corner there were several rocks across the lane approximately 4 inches in diameter. Basically the rocks were unavoidable. I didn't notice until two days ago that one of the rocks gashed my sidewall in my driver side front tire and then took out a chunk of my wheel! I questioned the rigidity of the tire so I went to Discount Tire yesterday and it turned out the tire was fine. I'm getting married next Saturday and have to drive 600 miles to and from the wedding. Better safe than sorry I always say. So the guy offered me $25/tire for my all-seasons with 26k on them. I was interested in the BFG KDW and the Michelin PE2, but both were out of stock and would take a week to get. The guy mentioned that he had a set of PS2s in 225/45/17 and would give them to me for the price of the PE2 plus the $25 trade-in. Ending price $137/tire.

These tires are the bomb! I used to jam some corners near my house and would under steer a bit and could feel a little uneasiness in the front end. These tires just grip and pull me all the way through. I made my fiancé completely car sick last night jamming through just two corners. Highly recommend these tires.

The PE2 is the summer tire option. According to the Michilen website the PS2 is a step above, although it will wear faster.
